Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from designated warehouse locations using order lists or scanning devices.
- Verify product numbers and quantities against order requirements.
- Transport picked items to the packing or staging areas.
- Ensure order accuracy and completeness before passing to the next stage.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation and contribute to general warehouse upkeep.
- Adhere to all company safety regulations and policies, including the mandatory use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Report any stock discrepancies, damages, or operational issues to supervisors promptly.
- Assist with stocking duties and other warehouse tasks as assigned.
- Participate in inventory counts and other related activities.
- Contribute to the overall efficiency and success of our logistics operations through teamwork and dedication.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or order picking role is preferred but not required.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shift.
- Must be able to perform lifting tasks, handling items up to 40 pounds.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Good communication skills and the ability to follow instructions.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- A strong focus on workplace safety.
- Familiarity with warehouse logistics systems is a plus.
