As a Personal Banker within PNC's Retail Banking organization, you will be based in Charlotte, NC at the Providence Commons Branch. PNC will not provide sponsorship for employment visas or participate in STEM OPT for this position. The job description includes acquiring and deepening the branch customer base through proactive sales and service activities, managing the customer experience, collaborating with ecosystem partners to grow customer's share of wallet, positioning PNC solutions to drive new revenue and customer loyalty, driving proactive sales conversations through internal and outbound interactions, creating customer loyalty and growing customer share of wallet through a differentiated customer experience, applying product and procedural knowledge to identify, mitigate and solve customer problems effectively, and managing risk through adherence to all policies and procedures. PNC employees are expected to be customer focused and managing risk, assessing and effectively managing all of the risks associated with their business objectives and activities to ensure they adhere to and support PNC's Enterprise Risk Management Framework. Position will work a Saturday rotation schedule providing coverage at a PNC Bank Saturday Banking Branch a minimum of 1-2 Saturdays per month. Successful candidates must demonstrate appropriate knowledge, skills, and abilities for a role. Listed below are skills, competencies, work experience, education, and required certifications/licensures needed to be successful in this position. Preferred skills include accountability, banking, client loyalty, customer experience (CX), customer service, identifying opportunities, leveraging technology, and proactive sales. Competencies include banking products, digital awareness, effective communications, managing multiple priorities, matrix management, problem solving, prospecting, retail lending, selling, and understanding customer needs. Work experience typically requires an Associates or equivalent degree as well as related experience or product knowledge to accomplish primary duties. Typically requires 3+ years experience. In lieu of a degree, a comparable combination of education, job specific certification(s), and experience (including military service) may be considered. No degree is required for this position. No required certifications are needed to be successful in this position. Candidates being considered for this position will be subject to additional background checks as required by Consumer Financial Protection Bureau regulations.
