Intermediate Interior Designer

Starling Architecture PLLC seeks an Interior Designer with 3–5 years of professional experience to contribute to the conceptual development and execution of high-end residential interiors, with a strong focus on furniture, fixtures, and finishes. The role emphasizes design thinking and visual storytelling, including the development of interior concepts, palettes, and narratives; selection of furniture, lighting, materials, and decorative elements; and the preparation of presentation drawings, mood boards, and design documentation. The position works closely with project architectsfrom early concept through implementation. Starling Architecture is a Brooklyn-based practice known for thoughtful, detail-driven residential work and a collaborative studio culture. Qualifications: 3–5 years of professional interior design experience, preferably in high-end residential Strong design sensibility with an ability to develop cohesive interior concepts Experience selecting and specifying furniture, lighting, materials, and finishes Proficiency in Rhino, Enscape,InDesign and Photoshop; working knowledge of Revit a plus Strong graphic, organizational, and communication skills Self-motivated and detail-oriented Compensation: Commensurate with experience.
