Our client is a private equity investment firm. They seek a Tax Manager to join their Los Angeles, CA office.
Responsibilities
Work with external tax accountants to file annual federal and state returns Prepare taxable income estimates and review tax distribution calculations Oversee financial statements, tax filings, estate plans, and special projects Support the transaction tax structure and the fundraising review process Implement tax strategies to minimize tax liability for individuals and entities Liaise with lawyers, trustees, and valuation experts to execute directed strategies Track investments, capital calls, distributions, and related financial activities Utilize investment tracking software to support efficient financial management Assist with cash flow planning, portfolio allocation, and budgeting activities Review draft/final Schedule K-1s/tax returns for reporting accuracy Requirements
Bachelor’s degree, Master’s in Tax preferred 3+ years of accounting experience Private equity/financial services industry background Public or combo (Big 4+) accounting experience Organized with strong problem-solving skills Able to multitask and meet strict deadlines Strong written and verbal communication skills CPA strongly preferred Job ID: 46086 Hybrid Remote/Office
