Together, we’re known for doing things the right way—putting people first, working as a team, and delivering work we’re proud to stand behind.**How You’ll Make a Difference**As a Sr. Permit Specialist, you’ll be guiding projects through complex permitting processes. Your work keeps projects moving, customers informed, and teams aligned—making sure every detail is handled with care, accuracy, and urgency.**What You’ll Do*** Partner closely with Sales, Project Managers, Coordinators, and customers to gather all the information needed to submit for permits* Manage permits from application through approval, including inspections, follow-ups, and jurisdictional coordination* Research and maintain jurisdiction-specific requirements, processes, and contacts for future projects* Provide clear weekly updates to customers and keep internal systems current with permit statuses**What You’ll Bring*** At least 3 years of hands-on experience with permit processes and jurisdictional requirements, preferably for material handling and industrial projects* Strong project management and communication skills, with a customer-first mindset and comfort working in a fast-paced environment* Resourceful problem-solving with the ability to research requirements, identify what’s needed, and navigate uncertainty with confidence* Ability to read structural drawings and calculations using AutoCAD**Why You’ll Love Working With Us*** You’ll be trusted to lead meaningful work and help mentor others* We value integrity, accountability, and people who take pride in doing things right* You’ll grow with a company that’s building for the long term—together**Job Details**Pay Type:SalaryAt Sammons Warehouse Solutions, we design and deliver smart, efficient rack and storage systems, warehouse equipment, conveyor and automation systems, and controls software solutions for warehouse and distribution facilities across the country.
