Junior Architectural Designer

Jocelyn O Dickson Architecture (JODA) is seeking to hire a junior architectural designer for a full-time, in-person role. Minimum requirements include one year professional experience and an architecture degree. Ideal candidate will have 1-3 years of professional experience. Salary will be commensurate with experience. We are a small firm with active residential, institutional and hospitality projects. We are also in the process of expanding our interiors practice. The right candidate will have an interest in both architecture and interiors and be comfortable designing at a variety of scales. Relationships are of utmost importance at our practice: we seek to cultivate a positive working environment and open communication within our office, as well as with our clients and collaborators. The candidate will have an opportunity to be involved in all project phases, from concept / research through construction. Candidates seeking a fully remote position should NOT apply. This is strictly an IN-PERSON role. Benefits include flexible hours and generous paid time off. Experience with the following software is a plus: Autocad, Rhino + the Adobe Suite.
