Responsible for the strategy and execution of digital media and E‑commerce activity for the hotel. This position will support hotel marketing by developing digital marketing and E‑commerce programs. Digital marketing efforts will include: search engine marketing (including PPC and SEO), mobile marketing, display advertising, email marketing and assisting with social media planning. This position will also oversee E‑commerce activity including the management of the hotel’s web site and mini‑sites. Assists to ensure that the E‑commerce activities are aligned with the respective Corporate Strategy, and that the Hotel Actions have been implemented where appropriate. Continuously seeks marketing and E‑commerce opportunities to increase awareness and ultimately business. Ensures a high level of exposure for the hotel through direct sales solicitation, telephone contacts and written communications. Maintains a detailed knowledge of the hotel and Hainan Ocean Paradise’s facilities, features and services. Develop E‑commerce strategies and best practices for the hotel web site such as content management (using The Editor – Hyatt’s proprietary CMS tool) and traffic‑driving tactics and strategies. Work with and manage agency for mini‑site development projects as necessary/needed – for F&B, weddings, and so on. Work closely with the operation department & digital department head to ensure website content for all hotel websites is relevant, up to date and optimized. Meet with digital and E‑commerce industry representatives (i.e. vendors, agencies, media partners such as Baidu, and so on if necessary) to gain insight to best practices. Proactively seeks opportunities (internally and externally) to promote rooms and food and beverage business. Qualifications

Minimum 2+ years experience in similar capacity with international chain hotels. Strong knowledge of general Internet marketing practices. Strong experience with digital media planning (SEO, PPC, display, mobile and social platforms) relevant to the local market.
