We’re looking for a Commercial Lines Account Manager to take ownership of a construction- heavy book of business with accounts ranging from $100K to $1M in premium. This role is ideal for a professional who thrives in a fast-paced, relationship-driven environment and enjoys being the go‑to expert for complex commercial risks.
What You’ll Do Manage and service a book of established commercial clients, primarily in the construction space. Partner with Producers on renewals, strategy, and placement to ensure each client gets top‑tier coverage and service. Lead the marketing process — analyze exposures, negotiate with carriers, and secure competitive terms. Review, compare, and finalize proposals with precision and professionalism. Oversee policy binding, certificates, endorsements, and audits with accuracy and urgency. Support clients through the claims process with clear communication and follow‑through. Maintain accurate documentation and ensure all client activities are properly tracked in the agency system. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to support staff when needed.
What You Bring 5+ years of commercial lines experience, with a strong background in construction accounts. Active Florida 2-20 license required. Professional designations such as CIC or CISR are a plus. Deep technical understanding of commercial coverages and underwriting practices. Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills. High attention to detail, accountability, and client‑first mindset.
