Job Overview As a Field Loan Officer at Lennar Mortgage, you will establish and nurture strong relationships with clients and homebuilding associates through face‑to‑face interactions. Your primary duties include assessing financial data, guiding customers on mortgage products, and facilitating the loan process in accordance with Lennar Mortgage roadmaps.
Key Responsibilities
Develop business and customer relationships through outside sales activities, prospecting, community visits, and real‑tors’ office engagements.
Conduct first‑time homebuyer seminars, builder and realtor functions, status meetings, and special events to generate leads and strengthen relationships.
Provide tailored mortgage recommendations, review and lock interest rates at least fifteen days prior to closing, and maintain strict compliance with federal, state, and company regulations.
Manage leads through daily review, proactive outreach via phone and email, and timely communication with internal and external stakeholders.
Originate and prepare new loans, adhering to regulations outlined in the Loan Officer agreement, and recommend suitable loan products.
Assist New Home Consultants with pre‑qualifications, contribute to pipeline development, meet or exceed closed loan capture and sales goals, and maintain detailed reports in the origination system.
Qualifications & Toolbox
Bilingual in English and Punjabi preferred.
High school diploma or equivalent; four‑year college degree preferred.
Minimum of 3 years loan originating experience.
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
NMLS license and specific state license, or willingness to obtain within 30 days of employment.
Fluent in Spanish (reading and writing) preferred.
Self‑starter, capable of working independently.
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
Passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and mortgage industry software and tools.
