What We're Looking For We’re hiring professional painting subcontractors who can consistently deliver high-quality interior and exterior work while protecting the customer experience.
Typical Scope of Work
Interior repaints (walls, ceilings, trim, doors)
Exterior repaints (stucco, siding, trim, soffit/fascia)
Prep work (patching, sanding, caulking, masking, protection)
Light carpentry touch-ups as needed (minor repairs before paint)
Daily clean-up and maintaining an organized job site
Punch-list completion and final touch-ups
Required Skills
Wood staining (ceilings, doors, pergolas, etc.)
Varnish application
Spraying aluminum (windows, doors, pergolas)
Spraying metal (gates, railings, etc.)
Delivering flawless, high-end finishes
Key Responsibilities
Execute assigned projects to scope, schedule, and Paint2Last quality standards
Maintain a clean, safe job site with proper protection of floors, furniture, and landscaping
Communicate progress, questions, and issues early (no surprises)
Follow written scopes and job notes exactly
Provide job-site photos and updates as requested
Complete punch lists quickly and professionally
Represent the Paint2Last brand with customers and neighbors
Qualifications
Proven experience completing residential and/or light commercial painting projects
Reliable crew capacity (minimum 2 people crew) and consistent availability
Strong prep standards (clean lines, smooth finishes, tight cut-ins)
Professional communication and follow-through
Own tools, vehicle(s), and equipment to complete jobs efficiently
Ability to work in occupied homes respectfully and professionally
English is a must (bilingual is a plus—many of our clients and crews are Spanish-speaking)
Ability to provide, as applicable:
General liability insurance
A registered Business
Workers' comp (or exemption where permitted)
W-9 and subcontractor onboarding documents
