Plant Mechanic

Work Hours:
Full‑Time; Monday – Friday 8:00am to 4:30pm

Qualifications Education
High School Diploma or Equivalent is required.
Experience
3 years of experience in maintenance and repair of equipment and utilities systems.
Healthcare environment preferred.
Licenses and Certifications
Valid Class C Driver’s License (DL) required upon hire.
Skills
Good written and verbal communication; ability to read blueprints and work orders.
Proficiency with hand tools, electrical tools, and minimal supervision.
Physical ability to travel, climb stairs and ladders, push, pull, lift; work in confined spaces and maintain safe posture.
What You Will Do
Maintain efficient operation of the facility.
Identify equipment operational and maintenance needs.
Implement preventive maintenance program for plant equipment and related facilities.
Record mechanical equipment readings and ensure accurate records.
Maintain plant safety features.
Perform major repairs on machinery including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and mechanical equipment.
Perform rotating on‑call duties, nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Conduct routine mechanical, electrical, or machining maintenance activities: lubrication, inspection, part replacement.
Use CMMS to keep accurate computerized records of activities, time, materials, and equipment performance.
Participate in safety programs, educational opportunities, and related training.
