Carpenter Foreman – Commercial Construction

About the Role We’re seeking an experienced Carpenter Foreman to lead onsite commercial construction activities for new build projects. This hands‑on leadership role oversees carpenters and subcontractors, manages daily site operations, and supports layout and scheduling. Responsibilities
Lead and supervise carpenters and subcontractors on commercial projects
Perform and assist with layout, scheduling, and daily planning
Manage and mentor a field team of 5–10 people
Conduct daily tool box talks to promote safety and productivity
Read and interpret blueprints; utilize Bluebeam for plan work
Assist as an Assistant Superintendent when needed
Open and close project sites as part of daily responsibilities
Required Skills & Experience
Strong experience in carpentry, framing, and commercial construction
3+ years of experience as a Carpenter Foreman
Proficiency in finish carpentry
Experience with layout tasks and jobsite coordination
Ability to lead crews and maintain productivity
Skilled in blueprint reading and Bluebeam
Preferred Qualifications
Equipment operation experience: forklifts, skid steers, scissor lifts, boom lifts
CITC or union apprenticeship training (preferred, not required)
OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification (preferred, not required)

Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $27.00 - $35.00/hr.
