Commercial Real Estate Paralegal
A strong law firm in Greenville is seeking an experienced Commercial Real Estate Paralegal to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in South Carolina commercial real estate transactions, exceptional organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
Prepare and review closing documents for SC commercial real estate closings.
Coordinate and manage all aspects of real estate transactions, including due diligence and follow-up.
Draft and review loan documents for real estate lending transactions.
Review title commitments and policies; handle title insurance matters.
Communicate effectively with clients, lenders, and other parties involved in transactions.
Utilize SoftPro for document preparation and transaction management (experience is a strong plus).
Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with deadlines and legal requirements.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education and work experience.
Minimum 4 years of experience as a real estate paralegal.
Proficiency in SC commercial real estate closings and title insurance.
Experience in real estate lending transactions, including preparation of loan documents and due diligence review.
Strong computer skills and familiarity with legal software; SoftPro experience highly preferred.
Compensation
$35-40/hour
Standard M-F office hours on-site
