Job Summary The Field Service Representative provides on‑site technical support for Mindray’s Patient Monitoring, Anesthesia, and Ultrasound systems. This role is responsible for installations, inspections, repairs, preventive maintenance, and software updates, ensuring optimal system performance and customer satisfaction. The representative serves as the front‑line technical expert, maintaining positive relationships with customers while supporting service contracts and assisting sales and clinical teams.
What You’ll Do
Perform installation, inspection, repair, and preventive maintenance of Mindray equipment in hospitals and clinical environments.
Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and networking issues to minimize equipment downtime.
Provide telephone and on‑site technical support to customers, sales, and clinical staff.
Maintain organized documentation and service reports in accordance with company policies and quality system standards.
Support contract renewals by identifying potential customers, preparing quotations, and pursuing new service opportunities.
Manage company‑provided inventory, test equipment, and vehicle to ensure readiness and compliance with service standards.
Stay current on product updates and technical advancements through ongoing training and collaboration with senior technicians.
Partner with sales and clinical education teams to provide technical expertise during product demonstrations and installations.
What You’ll Bring
Associate degree in Electronics, Biomedical Engineering, or related field (Bachelor’s degree preferred).
Prior experience in field service or hospital biomedical engineering preferred.
Strong technical proficiency in troubleshooting and repair of medical devices.
Excellent organizational and communication skills with the ability to work independently.
Customer‑focused attitude with strong problem‑solving and analytical abilities.
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
Work Environment Home‑based field position with approximately 70% travel to hospitals and clinics. Must be available for on‑call emergency service 24/7, including weekends and holidays. Ability to lift up to 75 lbs. with or without assistance.
