Overview
The Golf Courses of Lawsonia offer two distinct 18-hole experiences that have captivated golfers for generations. Whether you're seeking the classic charm of a links-style course or the serene beauty of a woodland setting, Lawsonia delivers unparalleled golfing adventures.
Rooted in the golden age of golf course design, The Links at Lawsonia offers a bold and timeless experience unlike anything else in the Midwest. Designed by William Langford and Theodore Moreau in 1930, this classic links-style layout is famous for its massive elevated greens, deep bunkers, wide fairways, and dramatic land movement-shaped entirely with steam shovels and vision.
Ranked #16 Top 100 U.S. Public Golf Courses (2024 GOLF.com)
Ranked #89 America's 100 Greatest Public Golf Courses (2023-24 Golf Digest)
Ranked #25 Top 100 Courses in the U.S. (2024-25 Golfweek)
Tucked among towering trees and pristine Wisconsin countryside, The Woodlands at Lawsonia is a modern classic that offers a striking contrast to its sister course. Built in the 1980s by William "Rocky" Roquemore, the course winds through dense hardwoods, natural wetlands, and dramatic elevation changes-showcasing a more secluded, scenic, and strategic style of golf in Green Lake.
