Role Summary This is a strategic sales role focused on marine parts distribution and procurement networks. The Account Executive will develop deep customer relationships, diagnose workflow pain, and guide customers through pilots and full implementation of the Sales Patriot platform.

This role rewards performance with meaningful upside through uncapped commissions.

Key Responsibilities

Develop a prioritized pipeline of marine distributors, ship chandlers, and procurement-driven suppliers

Execute full-cycle enterprise sales including research, discovery, value mapping, demo, pilot scoping, negotiation, and closing

Uncover RFQ and sourcing pain points, especially around quote volume, turnaround time, visibility, margin tracking, and workflow fragmentation

Build multi-threaded relationships across desk users, sourcing leads, operations, and executives

Structure measurable pilots to prove ROI (RFQ turnaround, quote conversion, cycle time reduction)

Partner with Product and Customer Success to ensure onboarding, adoption, and expansion success

Provide marine-specific workflow requirements and competitive insights to leadership and product teams

Represent Sales Patriot at relevant conferences, industry events, and online communities

Ideal Qualifications

5+ years experience in marine supply chain, distribution, ship chandlery, or marine procurement platforms

Exposure to procurement/marketplace platforms (ShipServ or similar)

Full-cycle enterprise selling experience in B2B SaaS, workflow automation, supply chain tech, or industrial services

Skilled at relationship selling and trusted-advisor positioning

Proven ability to navigate long, complex sales cycles with multiple stakeholders

Independent operator comfortable with autonomy and ambiguity

Willingness to travel to customer sites and events as required
