Account Executive Functions

Drive sales growth by finding and closing business in Mid‑Market and SMB Segments defined as businesses with more than 50 locations nationally

Close complex deals involving multiple C‑level decision‑makers and stakeholders

Work with the team to build custom presentations and demonstrations of product for prospective clients

Run effective Proof of Concept campaigns to prove BirdEye value

Report on sales activity and metrics in CRM

Manage the full sales cycle in a team selling environment

Work closely with Product and Customer care teams

Manage pipeline, sales activity and forecast accurately

Experience selling to CMO, CEO, Digital Marketers or Heads of Social Media

Account Executive Essential Functions

Sell SaaS to business units and key personas that include CMOs, VPs, & Directors

Navigate complex, multi‑year deals with several stakeholders over several months, with the ability to solution‑sell and close an initial land opportunity

Be a key driver in Salsify’s continued new logo acquisition on the national and worldwide stage

Be effective at presenting, objection handling, and offering solutions

Become an expert with the Skillz platform, mobile gaming at large, and how the two interplay and how Skillz enhances gaming for players and game developers

Consult with prospects about business challenges, gaps and requirements

Be a sales professional with the ability to strategically target and navigate a successful sales outcome in a complex sales environment

Partner with technical team and product specialists where required to address customer requirements

Work with marketing to plan and execute lead generation campaigns

Work with Sales Development Representatives to optimize a proactive sales approach and ensure an active pipeline of new leads and selling opportunities

Account Executive Overview

Own all aspects of the inside sales process on defined opportunities, including ongoing qualification, product demonstration, evaluation, pricing, negotiation and closing sales

Build a pipeline of both short‑term and longer‑term opportunities, focusing on inbound leads

Know product features and key benefits inside and out and act as a subject matter expert to provide potential clients with product quotes and industry knowledge

Travel to and network at conferences and industry events to build pipeline, including setting up and manning the booth and lead follow‑up

Leverage personal network to generate leads and close deals

Maintain visibility into activities through accurate reporting in CRM software

Document and report feedback received from prospects and sales interactions to management

Stay current on competitive data, KYC/AML regulations and competitive trends

Account Executive Tasks

Engage, qualify, and create relationship maps/organizational alignment within each account

Maintain and grow existing market share on a year‑over‑year basis

Clearly understand clients' goals and help them achieve key business outcomes

Serve as a single, high‑level point of escalation for customer satisfaction issues

Create and supplement pipeline with a superior prospecting mentality, experience with prospecting tools and real, bottom‑line results

Own the demonstration and sale of the complete value proposition via telephone, web conferencing, and face‑to‑face customer meetings

Become a master of the full range of Cosential technology, products, and services and identify how these align to customer needs

Collaborate with colleagues cross‑functionally to support the sales process

Build and maintain internal relationships within sales and marketing and coordinate with key customer influencers worldwide to ensure successful pre and post‑sales support of client needs

Account Executive Key Accountabilities

Previous agency account management experience

Proven work with Consumer Packaged Goods and Food/Beverage experience

Client support – interact with clients and handle all requests

Some sales experience is a nice to have – help generate leads and develop them into new accounts

Looking for a real go‑getter who wants to grow within a company

Experience working for a Security firm/industry would be a plus

Monthly meeting with Prestige team and Business Unit Controller

Monthly field training visit with FSM for personal development

Ad hoc contact with Brand, Customer Marketing and National Account Managers to assist various activities and projects

Account Executive General Responsibilities

Formulate comprehensive and insightful strategic account plans with in‑depth understanding of the market and customer insights in the responsible territory

Execute sales strategies, tactics, and innovative solutions effectively to drive access and maximize business opportunities

Support product manager in executing marketing activities, monitoring effectiveness of key initiatives, and identifying gaps for further development of marketing strategies

Collect and analyze market, customer, and competitor intelligence to maximize opportunity and minimize risk for the territory and team appropriately

Support and collaborate with cross‑functional team e.g. marketing, medical affairs, market access and public affairs to achieve team/business results

Share responsibility for client retention by proactively identifying client risks or opportunities and managing client teams to effectively respond to client needs

Prepare, distribute & update client correspondence from key client meetings (conference reports, memos, etc.)

Assist in the development & production of plans, presentations, creative briefs, & proposals

Work with email service providers and campaign management systems to assure appropriate customer segmentation, communication versioning, execution, delivery, etc.

Senior Account Executive Roles and Responsibilities

Prospect, nurture and close 30 named enterprise accounts

Nurture inbound demo requests from the first engagement to close

Manage stakeholders in a creative and professional way

Do an initial deep‑dive into understanding inclusion initiatives to speak with insight and authority but also continually learn and stay updated on this ever‑changing space

Maintain high activity levels all tracked and logged in CRM

Provide constant feedback to the team/leadership to explore possible improvements

Attend sales training and coaching sessions

Proactively research new innovative sales training programs and books

Collaborate with the team with minimal supervision
