MORTGAGE LOAN PROCESSOR - JACKSONVILLE, FL

Role Overview Process and close first mortgages, HELOCs, Home Equity, and Land/Lot loans following secondary market guidelines. Provide quality mortgage loan service, answer inquiries, maintain compliance.
Key Responsibilities
Process and fund mortgage loans within established timeframes ensuring accurate disclosures and compliance regulations.
Maintain working knowledge of credit union policies, procedures, mortgage loan standards, products, rates, and governmental regulations. Participate in monthly ongoing educational requirements.
Respond to inquiries from credit union staff regarding mortgage loan programs, Freddie Mac guidelines, internal procedures, and interest rates.
Experience & Skills Required
Three to Five years of related experience.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Friendly and professional demeanor.
Basic computer and keyboard skills, ten‑key calculator, Microsoft Excel and Word.
Education
A two‑year college degree or completion of a specialized certification, licensing, or training program.
