compassionate, creative, and energetic Activities Assistant
to help enrich the lives of our residents through meaningful and engaging activities. If you love working with seniors and enjoy bringing smiles to others, this is a rewarding opportunity to make an impact every day.
What You’ll Do:
Assist with planning and leading
fun, engaging activities
such as games, crafts, music, exercise, and special events
Encourage resident participation and adapt activities to meet individual abilities
Support residents by safely assisting with transportation to and from activities
Help set up, clean up, and organize activity spaces and supplies
Document participation and collaborate with the care team to enhance quality of life
What We’re Looking For:
High school diploma or equivalent
Experience in senior care, recreation, or activities is a plus (but not required)
Positive, patient, and enthusiastic attitude
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Ability to safely assist residents, including pushing wheelchairs
