This role works with an extended sales team, interacting with existing and potential customers, positioning and demonstrating our K‑12 products and services. We look for individuals with no sales experience required but a background in K‑12 education is highly preferred.

Compensation Base pay: $21.19 - $29.00 per hour. Eligible for incentive/commission/annual bonus based on performance. Compensation may vary based on experience, location and market conditions.

Location US‑based, hybrid schedule in either Tempe, AZ or Austin, TX office, working on site Tuesday‑Thursday with optional remote days.

Responsibilities

Conduct webinar demonstrations of product solutions.

Engage customers through all opportunity sales stages including final negotiations.

Identify potential customers and qualified contacts to drive leads through the sales pipeline.

Collaborate with Marketing on outbound sales and email campaigns.

Use a consultative sales process to identify customer needs.

Maintain information in the company’s sales database.

Provide timely communication to internal and external stakeholders on the status of each account.

Make a minimum of 25 outbound calls and 25 emails daily.

Own development and management of assigned customer relationships in a manner consistent with company policies and the highest standards of business ethics.

Anticipate, understand, and respond quickly to customer needs.

Act as conduit of information back to company regarding customer needs, market, and business insights.

Utilize Salesforce to accurately reflect business activities.

Other duties as required.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field; or 3+ years of business‑to‑business sales experience; or an acceptable combination of education and experience.

Teaching, school administrator, SaaS, PaaS, or software sales experience highly preferred.

Successful track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals and landing new business for a SaaS offering preferred.

Experience in selling solutions into the K‑12 education market preferred.

Sales knowledge and business acumen a plus, including lead generation (cold calling), account management, and advanced customer problem‑solving skills.

Experience in an open sales office environment helpful.

Outstanding interpersonal and relationship‑building skills with a high degree of responsiveness and integrity.

Positive, friendly, and professional attitude.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Comfortable presenting over the phone and via the web.

Highly organized and detail oriented with ability to work in a high‑paced environment managing shifting workloads and multiple priorities.

Thrives in a collaborative team environment that ensures customer success.

Self‑motivated and able to work successfully with minimal supervision.

Advanced computer skills, including Word, Excel, and Outlook in a Microsoft Windows environment; experience with NetSuite helpful but not required.
