Job Description
Job Summary
The Senior CAD Drafter will lead in the support of NTS Engineering and process facilities with sustainable CAD drafting and drawing/design management activities along with supporting engineering project needs across the company.
Key Responsibilities
Work with Engineers and Salesmen to develop complicated and expert level engineering plans and Sales drawings.
Prepare drawings from rough sketches, notes, marked-up prints, written/verbal instructions with CAD, and other design software.
Translate existing plans into NTS formats.
Develop new drawing methods/processes.
Knowledge and Skills
Expert in AutoCAD and REVIT.
Expert knowledge of all NTS equipment.
Proficient in researching current state of CAD practice.
Basic knowledge of the OSHA and applicable state and local requirements relative to Trench and Excavation Shoring and Shielding.
Qualifications
High School Diploma: associate/technical degree preferred
Minimum (5) years' experience as a CAD drafter, preferably in the construction equipment industry.
