The Safety & Loss Prevention Manager is responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining safety programs and loss prevention strategies to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and protect company assets. This role oversees employee safety training, conducts inspections, and manages security measures across all locations.
Key Responsibilities
Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies. Develop and deliver safety training programs for employees and drivers. Oversee vehicle inspections and maintain compliance with CDL, driver licenses, and medical certifications. Conduct regular safety meetings and audits at all locations. Perform facility inspections and document findings, corrective actions, and cost-effective solutions. Maintain records for equipment inspections (e.g., forklifts, jacks) and daily safety checks. Implement and monitor security measures to prevent theft and loss. Investigate incidents and recommend preventive measures. Collaborate with management and serve as the point of contact for safety initiatives. Qualifications
Knowledge of safety regulations and compliance standards. Experience in safety management and loss prevention. Strong organizational and documentation skills. Ability to travel to multiple locations. Preferred:
CDL certification, forklift experience, background in security, or risk management.
