Action Behavior Centers – Teammate Experience Ambassador Location: North Carolina region

Salary: $50,000 – $70,000 per year

Responsibilities

Partner with all Teammates—including ABA therapists, Operations Managers, Clinical Directors, and leaders—to provide ongoing support, coaching, and guidance on all aspects of the Teammate Experience.

Manage Teammate attraction, engagement, and retention; build connections to increase communication and understanding of the overall value proposition. Achieve KPIs related to Teammate retention in the assigned region.

Drive Teammate engagement by creating connections, evaluating centers, and developing center-level insights. Establish action plans and project manage center-based interventions alongside leadership. Monitor center trends and proactively develop broader interventions to enhance engagement and retention.

Execute short‑ and long‑range organizational goals, objectives, strategic plans, policies, and operating procedures; evaluate programmatic and operational effectiveness and implement necessary improvements.

Respond to Teammate‑relations inquiries within the territory (e.g., HR investigations, concerns, conflict resolution, performance management, and team development). Use high EQ to resolve issues promptly and positively impact workplace happiness.

Assist in developing and implementing employee relations strategies designed to minimize and mediate workplace disputes, fostering a positive and productive work environment.

Oversee the Human Resources Teammate‑related function, ensuring services to departments are effective, cohesive, and aligned with client and institutional objectives.

Support administration of insurance, retirement, and other benefits programs; respond to inquiries and recommend improvements for faculty and staff employer‑sponsored benefits.

Perform additional job‑related duties as assigned.

Spend 75% of time in centers, requiring travel between local centers.

Minimum Job Requirements

Bachelor’s degree required (Master’s preferred) in Human Resources or a related field and at least 1 year of HR experience in a leadership role addressing policies and compliance.

Candidate must be located in the North Carolina region.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to work effectively with diverse constituencies.

Critical thinking and ability to develop broad, holistic insights to drive retention and engagement.

Skill in examining and interpreting policy implementation impacts on Teammates and business.

Capability to foster a cooperative work environment as an HR strategic partner.

Knowledge of contemporary HR principles and public personnel practices.

Analytical skills for training and development needs assessment.

Familiarity with computerized HR information systems.

Ability to navigate employee relations concerns and monitor performance management implementation.

Knowledge of federal and state employment laws and regulations.

Supported process improvement on all People Services initiatives.
