EHS Specialist
We are seeking a dynamic, detail-oriented, and bilingual EHS Specialist to join our team in the Manufacturing industry. This full‑time, permanent position offers a unique opportunity to play a pivotal role in maintaining and improving the environmental, health, and safety (EHS) standards of our organization.
Base Pay Range USD $65,000 – $90,000 per year

Responsibilities
Develop, implement, and monitor company EHS programs and policies to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local environmental, health, and safety regulations.
Conduct regular safety inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and ensure corrective actions are taken promptly.
Coordinate and deliver EHS training programs for employees to promote awareness and understanding of safety protocols and procedures.
Prepare and maintain necessary documentation, including SOPs, incident reports, and safety meeting minutes.
Collaborate with management and staff to foster an environment of continuous EHS improvement.
Respond to and investigate EHS incidents, determining root causes and implementing corrective actions.
Stay up‑to‑date with the latest EHS trends and regulations, advising management on necessary changes and adaptations.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Health, Occupational Safety, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in EHS roles within the manufacturing industry.
Fluency in English and Spanish.
In‑depth knowledge of federal, state, and local EHS regulations.
Proficient at developing and implementing EHS training programs.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively at all levels.
Proven ability to manage and maintain SOPs and other safety documentation.
Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) credentials are preferred.
Problem‑solving skills with a focus on proactive prevention and improvement.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and EHS management systems.
