Cyntergy seeks a skilled Electrical Engineering Designer to join our dynamic team, specializing in sophisticated electrical design projects across retail, government, and energy sectors. As a vital member of our engineering group, you will collaborate closely with architects and project managers to deliver innovative, safe, and sustainable electrical systems. This role requires a creative problem solver with a robust understanding of electrical standards and a passion for technological advancements in engineering. Design electrical systems and circuits, including lighting systems, power systems, and electric controls for various types of buildings and infrastructure projects. Prepare electrical drawings and specifications while ensuring compliance with national and local code requirements. Coordinate with other engineering disciplines and architects to integrate electrical designs with other aspects of architectural plans. Analyze and select electrical components based on functionality, cost-efficiency, and energy efficiency. Conduct simulations and calculations for electrical load, performance prediction, and system layouts. Participate in project meetings and provide technical insights and updates. Review and revise designs to resolve installation issues and improve system reliability and efficiency. Assist in supervising installation, testing, and system commissioning activities. Proficient in CAD software and other engineering design tools. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Familiarity with NEC, IEEE, and other relevant electrical codes and standards. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, capable of working effectively in interdisciplinary teams. Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance 401k PE (Professional Engineer) license preferred. Certification in AutoCAD or similar design software.
