Responsibilities:
- Process and prepare outgoing shipments, including picking, packing, and labeling.
- Receive and unload incoming shipments, verifying contents against shipping documents.
- Inspect incoming goods for damage or discrepancies.
- Accurately record all incoming and outgoing inventory in the warehouse management system.
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the shipping and receiving dock areas.
- Ensure compliance with all shipping and receiving regulations and company policies.
- Adhere strictly to all safety protocols and guidelines, including the mandatory use of PPE.
- Practice safe Lifting techniques to prevent injuries.
- Communicate effectively with carriers, vendors, and internal teams regarding shipment status.
- Assist with inventory management and stocktaking as needed.
- Support the overall logistics and supply chain functions of the company.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in shipping and receiving, warehouse operations, or logistics.
- Proficiency with shipping software and warehouse management systems (WMS).
- Experience operating forklifts and other warehouse equipment is highly desirable.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation and order processing.
- Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, and lift throughout the shift.
- Ability to lift up to 60 lbs.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work independently.
- Understanding of safety procedures and willingness to wear required PPE.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
