Order Picker

Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Order Picker to join our growing logistics team in Omaha, Nebraska. This role is critical for accurately and efficiently preparing customer orders for shipment. You will be responsible for locating products within our warehouse, verifying order accuracy, and staging items for packing and dispatch. A strong focus on accuracy, speed, and safety is essential for success in this position.
Responsibilities:

• Accurately pick items from warehouse shelves based on order tickets or electronic lists.
• Utilize RF scanners to track inventory and confirm picked items.
• Inspect picked items for damage or defects before proceeding.
• Organize picked items for efficient packing and shipping.
• Maintain a clean and orderly work environment, following all safety guidelines.
• Participate in inventory counts and stock checks as directed.
• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding order status or issues.
• Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including mandatory PPE usage.

Qualifications:

• Prior experience in order picking or a similar warehouse role is preferred.
• Ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 45 pounds.
• Must be able to stand and walk for the duration of the shift.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
• Familiarity with warehouse safety standards and the importance of PPE.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced logistics environment.
• High school diploma or equivalent is advantageous.
