Administrative Assistant

Pathology Department, Boise Regional Medical Center Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent required. 2 years of relevant experience required, preferably in a healthcare setting. Critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Requires demonstrated proficiency in multi-tasking, flexibility, time management, organization, attention to detail and professionalism. Must be able to work equally well independently and in a team environment. What You Will Do: Composes and transcribes correspondence, forms, reports, presentation materials and other pathology related materials. Schedules / coordinates meetings, conferences and other departmental related events. Maintains filing systems. Orders and stocks supplies. Assists with special projects and interdepartmental needs when appropriate. Experience with process improvement or lean philosophy preferred.
