Position Overview

An industry-leading manufacturer is seeking a skilled

Tool and Die Maker

to join our team. This role involves designing, building, and maintaining precision tools, dies, jigs, and fixtures to support production operations. The ideal candidate will have strong CNC programming skills, manual machining experience, and the ability to work with a variety of materials and part sizes.

Key Responsibilities

Design, build, and repair tools, dies, jigs, and fixtures for manufacturing processes.

Program CNC Mills and Lathes using

Mastercam

.

Set up and operate CNC machinery and conventional machine shop equipment.

Perform manual machining tasks as required.

Work with large and small parts using metals and plastics.

Inspect tools and dies for accuracy and conformance to specifications.

Collaborate with engineering and production teams to ensure project success.

Maintain a safe and clean work environment in compliance with company standards.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent; formal vocational training preferred.

Minimum 8 years of machine shop experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Programming experience

on CNC Mill & Lathe using

Mastercam

.

Proven ability to

set up and run CNC machinery

independently.

Strong

manual machining experience

.

Experience with

Swiss Screw Machines

is a plus.

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.

Proficient in shop mathematics and precision measuring tools.

Familiarity with Haas controls preferred.

Understanding of 5S and Lean Manufacturing principles is a plus.
