Order Processing/Inside Sales Lead
Seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused professional to support and lead our order processing and customer service functions. This role is responsible for ensuring accurate order fulfillment, maintaining strong customer relationships, and providing guidance to order processing staff while working cross-functionally with sales, shipping, production, and inventory teams. $20/hr. to start. Order Processing/Inside Sales Lead Details: Temp-to-Hire position $ 20.00 / hour Full Time work available First Shift (Monday through Friday from 08:00am to 04:30pm) Deliver exceptional customer service via phone and written communication Accurately process customer orders received through phone, email, and website Resolve customer inquiries, issues, and escalations promptly and professionally Promote products through upselling, cross-selling, and sales promotions Coordinate in-house delivery routes and track backorders to ensure timely fulfillment Maintain accurate documentation including orders, invoices, RMAs, and system updates Collaborate with production, inventory, shipping, and sales teams to resolve discrepancies Notify inventory control of errors, adjustments, and needs Train, monitor, and support order processors; ensure adherence to policies and procedures Evaluate and improve order processing workflows for efficiency and accuracy Create weekly transfer truck requests to support optimal inventory levels Build and maintain customer relationships, including new, existing, and attrition customers Contribute ideas for marketing initiatives, promotions, and continuous improvement projects Order Processing/Inside Sales Lead Qualifications: Strong customer service and communication skills High attention to detail and accuracy Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment Experience with order processing, billing, or inventory systems preferred Leadership, supervisor or training experience a plus Proficient with basic computer systems and documentation We are an Equal Opportunity Employer and celebrate diversity at all levels of our organization.
