Role Summary As
Electrical BIM Manager , you’ll own the digital coordination of electrical systems across multiple high-profile projects in the Dulles Technology Corridor. You’ll connect
design, prefab, and field operations , ensuring accurate models, smooth trade coordination, and
construction-ready deliverables .
This is a hybrid
technical + leadership
role: you’ll set standards, mentor BIM teams, and serve as the subject-matter expert on tools, workflows, and best practices that drive constructability, prefabrication, and efficient install.
Key Responsibilities
Lead full-lifecycle
BIM/VDC execution
for electrical scopes from precon through turnover.
Manage and mentor
BIM Modelers/Coordinators ; provide training, reviews, and career guidance.
Establish
BIM standards, templates, families, and content libraries
to ensure cross-project consistency.
Drive multi-trade coordination using
Revit, Navisworks Manage, and Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) ; own clash detection and issue resolution.
Review/approve model-based deliverables for
accuracy, constructability, and milestone alignment .
Interface with PMs, engineers, prefab, and field leadership to align models with
fabrication and installation
needs.
Maintain
BIM Execution Plans (BEPs) , file sharing, and rigorous version control.
Guide
content creation and interoperability
with fabrication and layout tools; support
Trimble/Total Station, AR/VR
as needed.
Lead/participate in coordination meetings, steering discussions to
field-driven solutions .
Qualifications
5+ years
BIM/VDC experience in
electrical/MEP construction .
Expert in
Revit MEP
for electrical modeling (power, lighting, grounding, low-voltage).
Strong command of
Navisworks Manage , clash workflows, and issue tracking.
Proven experience
leading BIM teams
or multi-discipline coordination.
Familiarity with
ACC (BIM 360) , Bluebeam, and common collaboration platforms.
Excellent communicator who translates
design intent into constructible models ; highly organized and proactive across multiple concurrent projects.
Authorized to work in the U.S.
without sponsorship.
