Job Description AECOM is seeking an experienced On‑site Construction Inspector to support Federal projects and programs.
Key Responsibilities
Inspect contractor’s work in place, review construction submittals, and advise whether work is in full compliance with contract plans and specifications.
Provide on‑site inspection and recommendation to appropriate team members regarding compliance with contract plans, specifications, and requirements.
Track site progress, review project schedule, compare field progress against the schedule, and report delays from the approved baseline; provide updates to PM, Project Controls Manager, and Scheduler.
Attend preparatory meetings and participate in the inspection process required by contract.
Qualifications Minimum Requirements
High School Diploma plus 6 years of relevant experience.
U.S. citizenship required.
Preferred Requirements
Position requires frequent movement across indoor and outdoor construction sites with uneven terrain and variable environmental conditions.
Occasional repetitive bending/stooping, fine hand movements, work at heights, and lifting
Occasional requirement to work at heights, climb stairs, use ladders, wear fall protection, and lift > 25 lb.
Wearing personal protective equipment (gloves, safety glasses/goggles, face shield, safety shoes/boots, hard hat, hearing protection, and fall protection).
OSHA 30 Certification.
Experience using Microsoft Office.
