Lead Residential HVAC Installer
Grand Rapids, MI – Full‑time, In‑person
Monday–Friday; 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (occasional overtime as required)
Pay:
$25–$40 per hour based on experience, with bonus opportunities.
Sign‑on bonus:
up to $4,000 for qualified candidates.

What You’ll Do
Lead and perform installation of residential HVAC systems according to code and company standards
Troubleshoot, diagnose, and adjust systems for efficient operation
Ensure job sites and vehicles are clean, safe, and organized
Communicate clearly and professionally with customers and team members
Complete job documentation, service logs, and reports accurately
Uphold Vander Hyde’s commitment to safety and quality workmanship
Stay current with industry tools, technology, and best practices
What You Bring
2+ years of experience in residential HVAC installation
EPA Type II or Universal Certification
Ability to handle system start‑up and adjustments independently
Valid driver’s license with insurable record
Own basic hand tools
Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and work in varied jobsite conditions
