Key Responsibilities Employ radiography and CT imaging techniques to produce high-quality diagnostic images for physician review Work closely with radiologists and the healthcare team to ensure precise diagnostics Position patients accurately and meticulously adjust equipment settings Adhere strictly to radiation safety protocols to protect both patients and colleagues Keep detailed records, including imaging documents and maintenance logs Provide empathetic care and support for patients during imaging procedures Foster a safe, well-organized, and efficient imaging environment Education and Credential Requirements
Associate's Degree in Radiologic Technology is necessary; a Bachelor's Degree is advantageous Completion of an accredited radiology program Certification Requirements
Certification by ARRT (Radiography and/or CT) Valid BLS certification or ability to obtain it within 90 days of employment Essential Skills
In-depth understanding of diagnostic imaging processes and safety standards Strong communication abilities with both patients and healthcare team members Capability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while adapting to changing circumstances Attention to detail, coupled with a strong sense of responsibility Comfort with advanced imaging technology, including PACS, RIS, and other modern software systems What You Will Enjoy
