Overview
As a Marketing Operations and Strategy Manager you will be a key partner to marketing leaders, connecting the dots across strategy, process, and execution. You will help build the operational foundation that enables marketing teams to run efficiently, scale smartly, and drive results. This role is part strategist, part project manager, and part team leader. You will design systems and processes that support the work, ensure projects move forward on time and on budget, lead cross-functional workstreams, and manage a team of 48 direct reports across various marketing functions. You will translate high-level priorities into clear, actionable plans and well-structured documentation that align stakeholders and drive decision-making. You will design scalable processes, build dashboards and reporting frameworks, track performance against goals, and proactively identify areas for improvement. Whether defining new workflows, owning project timelines, or supporting resourcing strategies, your work will ensure clarity, consistency, and impact. You bring a sharp eye for detail, a knack for simplifying the complex, and a proactive mindset. You are comfortable leading teams, managing multiple initiatives, and helping shape both the strategic direction and the operational execution of a modern marketing organization. What Youll Do
Build clear, compelling documents and visuals that align stakeholders and tell a cohesive operational story Connect the dots across cross-functional teams to ensure alignment between strategy and day-to-day execution Translate marketing leadership goals into actionable project plans, timelines, and success metrics Own and drive key projects from planning through execution, ensuring accountability, timelines, and stakeholder alignment Lead and mentor a team of 48 direct reports, setting goals, providing feedback, and supporting their professional growth Design and implement scalable operating models, reporting frameworks, and cross-functional workflows Build and manage tables, dashboards, and templates to track performance and support decision-making Partner with marketing leadership on budgeting, headcount planning, and operational roadmaps Proactively identify gaps in process documentation or accountability, and offer solutions Help define and track team OKRs, KPIs, and marketing success metrics Support team structure, talent planning, and resource allocation across marketing workstreams Qualifications
Must reside in New York City, Los Angeles, or the Bay Area Experience in marketing operations and strategic planning in a consulting or agency setting Excellent communication and documentation skills with a strong sense of visual storytelling Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to juggle multiple projects and timelines Analytical and systems-minded with a proactive approach to identifying issues and driving improvements Fluent in building tables, slide decks, and tools that streamline work and clarify strategy Self-starter with the ability to work autonomously while driving alignment across teams Additional Information
