Event Staff Department: Emerald Logistix Employment Type: Full Time Location: San Antonio, TX Compensation: $17.25 - $24.00 / hour Description We are seeking enthusiastic and reliable Event Staff to join our dynamic team for various events and functions throughout the year. As an integral part of our events team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our events run smoothly and deliver an exceptional experience to our clients and guests. This position involves a wide range of responsibilities, including setting up event spaces, providing outstanding customer service, and assisting guests with any inquiries they may have. Key Responsibilities Assist in the setup and breakdown of event spaces including seating, decorations, and equipment. Provide exceptional customer service to guests throughout events, addressing their needs and inquiries promptly. Serve food and beverages, ensuring guests have everything they need during their time at the event. Monitor the event space to ensure it remains clean and organized, addressing any issues that arise. Work collaboratively with other staff members to ensure smooth event operations and guest satisfaction. Skills, Knowledge and Expertise Must be at least 18 years old. Previous experience in event staffing or customer service is a plus but not mandatory. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as required. Strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
