As we continue to expand, we are seeking an experienced fundraising and business development leader to drive capital formation and strengthen our institutional relationships. Position Overview

We’re looking for a Business Development & Sales Associate to help grow our asset management business by supporting fundraising and new client acquisition. This role supports senior marketing professionals while also owning key business development activities – helping generate leads, coordinate outreach, manage pipeline activity, and elevate the client experience from first meeting through ongoing servicing. This is an ideal position for someone who is motivated by relationship-building, sales execution, and learning the asset management business across public and private markets. Key Responsibilities

Business Development & Sales Support Support the full sales cycle: prospecting, outreach, meeting preparation, follow-ups, and next steps tracking. Support and maintain a healthy pipeline across institutional allocators (Public Funds, Corporations, Endowments, Foundations, Taft-Hartley, OCIOs, Consultants, etc.) Develop a strong understanding of investment product offerings to effectively communicate key differentiators and value propositions to prospective investors Help organize and maintain new business sales collateral library. Coordinate and prepare marketing and sales materials (deck customization, RFP/RFI responses, data gathering, and ad/hoc requests). Collaborate with firm-wide marketing to support campaigns, event planning, webinars, conferences, and thought leadership distribution. Track market activity and competitor positioning; share actionable insights with the team. Maintain accurate relationship records and interaction history in CRM. Qualifications

Required Bachelor’s degree (finance, economics, business, or related preferred). 2–7 years of experience in a client acquisition, sales, or business development role within asset management, wealth management, financial services, or fintech. Demonstrated comfort with outbound prospecting and “ask” moments (calls, follow-ups, handling objections). Strong written and verbal communication—able to distill investment concepts into clear value propositions. Highly organized with strong follow-through and the ability to manage multiple deals at once. Proficiency with CRM tools (Salesforce) and Microsoft Office (especially Excel and PowerPoint). Requires occasional to frequent travel within the United States. Preferred Familiarity and experience selling investment products (separate accounts, mutual funds, ETFs, private funds, alternatives) Familiarity with portfolio basics, performance attribution, and due diligence workflows (RFPs/DDQs).
