The Opportunity We partner with manufacturers across Grandville seeking Financial Analysts who want more than a lateral move. These companies hire intentionally, and we connect them with professionals ready for roles that fit.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct detailed cost analysis of production processes, materials, and labor to identify efficiencies.

Develop and maintain financial models for budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning specific to manufacturing operations.

Analyze manufacturing variances (material, labor, overhead) against standard costs and provide actionable insights.

Prepare comprehensive financial reports, performance dashboards, and key performance indicators (KPIs) for manufacturing management.

Evaluate capital expenditure requests for new machinery and plant upgrades, performing ROI and payback period analysis.

Monitor and analyze inventory valuation, turns, and obsolescence to optimize working capital.

Support the month-end close process by ensuring accurate cost accounting entries and reconciliations.

Recommended Qualifications

Proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting, and variance analysis.

Strong understanding of cost accounting principles and inventory valuation in manufacturing.

Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) for financial reporting and data extraction.

Demonstrated ability to analyze operational data and identify cost efficiencies within a production environment.

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related business field.

Bonus Qualifications

Strong understanding of manufacturing cost accounting principles (e.g., standard costing, variance analysis).

Proficiency with ERP systems common in manufacturing environments (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics AX/365).

Familiarity with operational metrics and KPIs relevant to manufacturing (e.g., OEE, yield, scrap rates).

Exposure to Lean manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies and their financial impact.
