Summary This position is part of a dynamic Human Resources team. It will manage and maintain legally compliant HR policies, procedures, and best practices, support employee needs and provide assistance to the HR Director and Leadership to implement HR programs and staffing plans. This is a multi-faceted administrative role.

Responsibilities

Respond to employee concerns and suggestions, escalating when needed to HR Director

Coordinate and manage unbiased staff recruitment while providing a timely, kind and communicative process

Manage onboarding and offboarding processes to ensure a smooth transition into and out of the organization, while being an employee go-to-resource

Organize and assist with administration of employee training

Support policy manual updates and communicate when needed

Administer and organize student program (providers, interns, CPH/TCR MA Program)

Assist with performance improvement plans in collaboration with managers, HR Manager and HR Director

Assist with timely reviews and communicating with managers/supervisors for deliverables to support employees with consistent feedback

Organize and support staff gatherings, events, and gifts

Assist with various HR reports including attrition, overtime, meal breaks, exit data, certifications and retirement plan; provide data analysis

Develop and maintain internal culture/morale improvement strategies

Understand and utilize the HRIS system

Manage maintenance and training on timeclocks

Help administer benefits, including open enrollment, life events and COBRA

Collaborate with HR team to assess projects, provide input and innovation

Cross train with the HR Manager for backup payroll

Conduct exit interviews and track responses

Manage company newsletter, website and other presentations

Attend monthly staff meetings at various locations

Conduct site visits as needed

Performs other duties as assigned

Requirements

This position is required in person with a potential for flexible schedule once fully trained

Knowledge of human resource basics

Ability to prioritize and work through deadlines

Ability to work across departments to achieve cooperation and buy-in on projects and policies

Knowledge of strategic business objectives and employee performance objectives

Skilled in exercising a high degree of initiative, judgment, confidentiality, discretion, and decision-making to achieve objectives.

Skilled in identifying, analyzing and resolving staff concerns.

Ability to effectively present information one-on-one and in small groups to employees

Ability to competently use Microsoft Office, including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, etc.

Ability to combine data into a digestible excel document with assisting graphs

Experience 2+ years of experience in a direct Human Resources position.

Preferred Education Bachelor’s Degree or higher, PHR or SHRM-CP a plus.

Mental and Physical Requirements Must possess the physical and mental abilities to perform the tasks normally associated with an office position that involves standing, sitting, reaching, manual dexterity to operate office machines, stooping, bending to handle files and supplies, and mobility to complete errands or deliveries. May work at computer monitors for prolonged periods with danger of eye strain and muscle pain.

Other Requirements Commuting to other locations within a 75-mile radius may be required.

Conditions The position requires the ability to work under pressure and with a diverse population, including staff, physicians, clients, patients, applicants, insurance companies, and other members of the public on a regular basis. Due to the nature of the business, the position may come across communicable diseases and other conditions common in a clinical environment.
