About Our Client: Addison Group is partnering with one of our clients in the manufacturing industry to support their HR team with a temporary Benefits Specialist. This short-term opportunity offers the chance to step in quickly and make an immediate impact.
Job Description: The Benefits Specialist will provide day-to-day support for benefits administration and employee inquiries. This role will focus on maintaining accurate benefits data, assisting with payroll and deduction audits, and serving as a key resource for employees navigating their benefit options.
Key Responsibilities:
Serve as the main point of contact for employee benefit questions via shared inbox and direct inquiries
Partner with ADP to resolve enrollment, eligibility, and data discrepancies
Responds to benefits inquiries from employees on plan provisions, benefits enrollments, status changes and other general inquiries.
Engages benefit providers and broker as needs arise
Review payroll and benefits reports to confirm deductions, contributions, and 401(k) files are accurate
Support COBRA-related questions and documentation needs
Maintain benefits records, plan documents, and internal tracking tools
Assist with vendor coordination, invoice tracking, and basic reporting needs
Provide administrative and operational support to the Benefits Manager as needed
Qualifications:
Minimum of 3 years of experience in benefits administration
Strong knowledge of group health plans, HSA/FSA, dental, vision, STD/LTD, 401(k), and wellness programs
Required experience using
ADP
and proficiency in Microsoft Office and Teams
Excellent customer service skills for employee support
Detail-oriented with strong organizational and communication skills
Comfortable handling confidential employee information
Additional Details:
Contract role for approximately 2 months
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
Hybrid in office Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday
Interview process includes an onsite meeting with the Benefits Manager
