Salary: $148,000.00 – $203,500.00

Job Description

As a Mechanical Engineer you’ll leverage your strong foundation in physics, mathematics, and materials science to process and resolve mechanical problems, design and implement custom mechanical tooling and associated processes, and enable the handling, assembly, and disassembly of parts, components, sub‑assemblies, and final assemblies throughout the product life cycle.

Key Responsibilities

Create new procedures and BKMs for automated service solutions. Support Apps lab demos of chamber applications and resolve or elevate issues to Engineering.

Collaborate with OEMs to address technical problems and create new solutions.

Collaborate with partner business units to gather process and qualification data to assess the effectiveness of automated services and support Design for Automated Service (DfAS) principles in new chamber designs.

Create initial training materials for new products and collaborate with Global Technical Training to design classes. Train Customer Engineers and Technical Product Support for customers receiving ELS units before shipment; onsite support during customer evaluations may be necessary.

Qualifications

Education and/or Certifications:

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering.

Master’s degree is preferred.

Years of Experience:

6–10 years of experience. Experience in the semiconductor equipment industry preferred; product support experience required.

Other Requirements

Full‑time position.

Travel – 10 % of the time.

Not eligible for relocation.
