Overview The Town of Lunenburg is seeking a knowledgeable, compassionate, and dedicated Outreach Coordinator to join the Lunenburg Council on Aging.
Key Responsibilities
Performs social service work in maintaining contact with the Town's aging population and their caregivers to assess their needs, provide a wide variety of information, and make referrals as necessary.
Provides non-clinical assessment, information, referral, and advocacy services.
Serves as the primary outreach and case coordination resource for seniors and their families.
Responds to crises and coordinates with local agencies and departments in accordance with established policies and protocols.
Qualifications
A bachelor's degree in human services, Psychology, or Social Work coupled with at least three to five years of experience with the senior population is required.
SHINE Certification preferred (must obtain certification within one year of hire).
Or a combination of Education and Experience.
Valid Massachusetts Class D motor vehicle license.
Must have access to and use of a personal vehicle for Town business.
CPR, AED, First Aid, and ServSafe certifications preferred (must obtain within required timeframes if not already held).

Pay Range This is a 36 hour per week, benefited position. Salary Administration Plan Grade 8 $24.49–$30.12/hr.
