Description The Renewal Analyst plays a key role in supporting GBS consultants and brokers by delivering timely, accurate benefit renewal information, analytics, and decision support to employer clients in a dynamic environment. This position directly contributes to our mission of providing exceptional advice and service. Competitive benefit designs and strategic plan pricing enable employers to attract, retain, and support their workforce, and the Renewal Analyst is central to that effort.

This role requires a service-minded approach, a commitment to accuracy, and the ability to support brokers and consultants throughout the quoting and renewal process.

Duties & Responsibilities

Lead the fully insured and level-funded quoting process for employer clients across a variety of sizes and industries

Collaborate with carrier partners to obtain benefit options, pricing, and renewal information

Prepare illustrations and conduct comparative analyses of benefit options across multiple product lines including Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, and Disability

Support brokers and client managers in analyzing and presenting benefit options to clients as necessary

Prepare benchmarking reports for large employers

Utilize company-specific tools, software systems, and data platforms effectively

Develop and maintain knowledge of the local healthcare marketplace and carrier landscape

Participate in internal and external meetings as needed

Perform other duties as assigned

Preferred Skills and Experience

Bachelor’s degree or 4+ years of experience in insurance, employee benefits, or data analysis, or a related field

Strong analytical and technical skills with the ability to interpret data, evaluate benefit options, and respond to client inquiries.

Proficiency with PC applications including advanced skills in Microsoft Excel is required

Excellent verbal and written communications skills with the ability to engage effectively with internal leaders, clients, and peers

Strong relationship-building abilities including the capacity to leverage cross-functional partnerships within and outside of the organization

Proven ability to work under tight deadlines and manage competing priorities

Demonstrated adaptability, willingness to learn new tools and processes, and ability to navigate industry and organizational changes

Strong troubleshooting skills with experience developing creative solutions in response to evolving healthcare and benefits trends

Highly organized with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks throughout the day

Working Conditions / Essential Functions This role is fully remote following a two week in-office training period. Employees are provided with a laptop and all necessary computer equipment to perform their duties from home. Work is primarily completed at a computer workstation, either seated or standing, and requires regular access to, input of, and retrieval of information from various computer systems.

Daily responsibilities involve extensive computer use, data entry, interaction communicating with individuals inside and outside the organization, and participation in virtual meetings. Employees are expected to remain focused, manage their time effectively, and maintain productivity in a remote environment.

Physical requirements include the ability to lift and move items typically weighing between 0 - 10 lbs, as well as the ability to visually review and monitor information displayed on a computer screen for extended periods.
