Sales Engineer – Reston, VA (Vibrint)

This Sales Engineer role provides technical sales expertise to the Virginia Intelligence Community in our Reston location.
Responsibilities
Understand customer needs and align product offerings with their requirements.
Provide technical expertise and guidance to customers throughout the sales process.
Conduct product demonstrations and deliver compelling presentations to showcase the value of our solutions.
Collaborate with the sales team to identify and qualify sales opportunities.
Develop and maintain strong customer relationships to increase satisfaction and loyalty.
Perform in‑depth technical presentations for customers, partners, and events.
Work with sales and engineering teams to build relationships between manufacturers and Vibrint.
Provide technical sales support for a wide range of products and solutions.
Lead deployment to completion for assigned customer proof of concepts and product evaluations.
Mentor and guide on technology and competitive trends to clients, partners, and employees.
Required Skills and Qualifications
BA or bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, or related field.
2+ years as a sales engineer or in a similar technical sales role with Value‑Added Resellers or OEMs.
Strong technical background with the ability to understand complex concepts and communicate them to both technical and non‑technical audiences.
Demonstrable experience presenting technical products and services, providing expert advice, and troubleshooting customer queries.
Strong problem‑solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify customer needs and propose innovative solutions.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
Willingness to travel as required.
Must have TS/SCI clearance.
Preferred Skills and Qualifications
Experience creating technical content such as white papers.
Experience working with cross‑functional teams, including product development and marketing.
