Employee Relations Partner – REMOTE Ryder System, Inc.

Summary An Employee Relations Partner provides consistent, tactical Employee Relations consultation to Managers and Employees, resolving employee issues and advising on conflict resolution, disciplinary action, and termination. The role conducts HR investigations, ensures adherence to company policies and regulations, and monitors employee relations trends to support proactive and preventative management.

Job Description This position will provide guidance and interpretation of policies to minimize the company’s legal liability and support high‑quality Human Resources service across the organization.

Essential Functions

Conduct and participate in all phases of local HR investigations, developing investigation plans, and ensuring fair, neutral, and timely investigations consistent with company policies, procedures, and federal/state regulations. Oversee daily administration of reported concerns within ServiceNow and Navex case‑management systems.

Manage employee relations matters by providing supervisors and managers with policy interpretation regarding conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and termination procedures.

Partner with Operational Management, HR Business Partners, Labor Relations, and Legal Teams to create solutions to complex Employee Relations situations.

Ensure delivery of high‑quality Human Resources support for the company through performance management, mitigating legal compliance risk, administering relevant clauses within union Collective Bargaining Agreements (as applicable), employee communication, and collaboration with Centers of Excellence.

Additional Responsibilities

Perform other duties as assigned.

Maintain knowledge of legal requirements and employment legislation within the region.

Travel as needed to company sites within the supported region.

Skills and Abilities

Conduct sensitive investigations and identify violations of federal, state, and local regulations or company policies.

Strong organizational, analytical, and negotiation skills.

Strong conflict‑resolution skills and impartiality during investigations.

Strong oral and written communication skills.

Create and maintain professional relationships at all levels of the organization.

Handle confidential information appropriately.

Work independently with minimal supervision.

Upskill and train on technology and functional aspects of case‑management systems.

Adapt to a fast‑paced environment with multiple tasks and excellent time management.

Detail‑oriented with excellent follow‑up practices.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Organizational Management, Law, or an equivalent field, or four (4) additional years of required experience.

Five (5) years or more in HR compliance, HR generalist, or employee relations.

Proficiency in the MS Office suite.

Knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.

Travel 0–10%

Compensation Information Pay Type : Salaried Minimum Pay Range: $65,000.00 Maximum Pay Range: $80,000.00
