Overview
The Employee Relations Partner is responsible for providing consistent, tactical Employee Relations consultation to Managers and Employees to resolve employee issues and advise on employee conflict resolution, disciplinary action and/or termination. They will conduct HR-related investigations to ensure issues are resolved in adherence to all company policies and procedures and local, state, and federal regulations, and manage resolution by providing recommendations to Operational Management and HR Business Partners as appropriate. They will analyze and interpret data to monitor employee relations trends to aid Operations Management in addressing trends proactively. This role provides guidance and interpretation of policies to minimize legal liability.
Remote work from home. Must live in the Northeast Region. Bilingual (Spanish) preferred.
Responsibilities
- Conduct and participate in all phases of local HR investigations, developing investigation plans, and conducting fair, neutral, and timely investigations in accordance with company policies, procedures, and federal/state regulations. Oversee daily administration of reported concerns within ServiceNow and Navex case management systems.
- Manage employee relations matters by providing supervisors and managers with policy interpretation regarding conflict resolutions, disciplinary actions, and termination procedures.
- Partner with Operational Management, Business HR, Labor Relations, and Legal Teams to create solutions to complex Employee Relations situations.
- Ensure the delivery of high-quality HR support through performance management, mitigating risk in legal compliance, administration of union-related provisions where applicable, employee communication, and collaboration with Centers of Excellence.
- Perform other duties as assigned and maintain knowledge of legal requirements and employment legislation within the region.
- Travel as needed to company sites within the supported region.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Organizational Management, Law or equivalent major; or additional four (4) years of required experience.
- Five (5) years or more in HR compliance, HR generalist, or employee relations.
- Proficiency in MS Office suite. Intermediate level.
- Knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations. Intermediate level.
- Strong organizational, analytical, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills. Ability to remain impartial during investigations.
- Strong oral and written communication skills. Ability to build professional relationships at all levels of the organization.
- Ability to handle confidential information appropriately and work independently with minimal supervision.
- Ability to upskill and train on technology and case management systems; self-driven to excel in a fast-paced environment.
- Capable of multi-tasking, highly organized, with excellent time management and attention to detail.

Compensation and Benefits
The compensation offered to a candidate may be influenced by factors including experience, education, work location, and market data. The position may be eligible for an annual bonus, commission, or long-term incentive plan depending on level/type. Pay Type: Salaried. Minimum Pay Range: $65,000.00. Maximum Pay Range: $80,000.00.
