Perform various tasks, such as the movement of product and fabricated parts at floor stations, to assist in the overall goal of meeting or exceeding departmental goals
RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES
Perform tasks at the Packing Line, including but not limited to preparing accessories, and wrapping, packaging and preparing products for shipment
Perform tasks pertaining to the Production Start Station and assisting with the Production Line in daily operations
Be aware of all Quality requirements
Follow the Work Instructions and Food & Drug Administration (FDA) guidelines
Identify and bring to the attention of a member of management any documentation errors (i.e. Bills of Material, Quality documents, Work Instructions)
Adhere to the calibration schedule for all tools used by the team
Ensure all safety and security rules are strictly observed and any accidents, incidents or injuries are promptly reported to management
Complete the Annual CTPAT Security Training
Focus on continuous improvement, and consistently demonstrate good business judgment
Work effectively with all Pride departments to exceed internal and external expectations
Assist with organization and cleaning of work area, keeping aisles and walkways clear at all times
Pride retains the discretion to modify duties and/or assign other duties as necessary
REQUIRED SKILLS
Must be a friendly team player, detail-oriented, and honest
Must have the ability to multi-task, problem-solve, and prioritize in a fast-paced working environment
Must have the ability to read and comprehend work instructions
Must possess a relentless drive to achieve advancement and continuous improvement
Must have a willingness to learn and/or adapt to new work methods
Must possess basic mathematical skills
Must be flexible in changing work plans
Must have good verbal and written communication skills
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
No experience required
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE
At least 1 year of experience using hand tools for assembly or repair preferred
At least 1 year of experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
Current or previous successful employment experience with Pride Mobility Products Corporation preferred
PREFERRED EDUCATION
High School Diploma or GED preferred
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now, or in the future
