$80,000 - $125,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

Manage full-cycle recruitment, onboarding, and retention strategies for manufacturing personnel.

Oversee employee relations, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and grievance handling.

Develop, implement, and ensure compliance with HR policies, labor laws, and safety regulations (e.g., OSHA).

Administer compensation, benefits, and payroll processes for both hourly and salaried employees.

Coordinate and facilitate essential training and development programs, with a strong emphasis on workplace safety.

Partner with operations management to address workforce planning, productivity, and employee engagement initiatives.

Recommended Qualifications

Proven experience as an HR Manager or Senior HR Generalist within a manufacturing or industrial environment.

Strong knowledge of labor relations, including experience with union environments or proactive employee relations strategies.

In-depth understanding of employment law, safety regulations (OSHA), and workers' compensation in a production setting.

Demonstrated ability in talent acquisition, onboarding, and retention strategies for a diverse manufacturing workforce.

Proficiency with HRIS systems and data analytics to support HR operations and strategic decision-making.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport across all levels of the organization, from shop floor to management.

Bonus Qualifications

Experience with labor relations or managing a unionized workforce.

Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles (e.g., Kaizen, 5S) and their HR implications.

Proficiency in HRIS and timekeeping systems specifically designed for shift-based or production environments.

Bilingual proficiency (e.g., Spanish) to effectively communicate with a diverse manufacturing workforce.
