Production Assembly Technician - Mechanical
Ziehm-Orthoscan Inc., a North Scottsdale Medical Device manufacturer located off Loop 101 and Raintree, is seeking a motivated, career‑oriented professional to join our team as a full‑time Production Assembly Technician in Arizona.

Job Summary Under the direction of the Manufacturing Manager, perform mechanical and electrical assembly of Orthoscan medical device products in accordance with all regulations and instructions. Finished products are used in surgical/clinical settings and must meet stringent safety requirements.
Essential Functions
Perform various mechanical and electro‑mechanical assembly tasks.
Evaluate and test components and assemblies prior to and during the build process.
Adhere to Work Instructions, SOPs, and all other FDA/ISO regulations.
Maintain strong attention to detail with documentation, communication, and math skills.
Comply with safety practices and personal protective equipment requirements.
Follow instructions to ensure work is completed to the best of the technician’s ability.
Work independently and manage time effectively for maximum throughput.
Operate various hand and power tools.
Recognize issues, troubleshoot, and repair as needed.
Work as part of the Production Team to meet team and personal goals.
Demonstrate competent dexterity for safe handling of high‑value materials.
Basic Qualifications
High school diploma or GED.
Minimum of 2 years mechanical and/or electro‑mechanical assembly experience.
Knowledge of IPC workmanship standards is a plus.
Experience in an ISO 9001 or ISO 13485 industry (e.g., medical device, aerospace, or automotive manufacturing and assembly).
Demonstrated experience assembling mechanical/electrical assemblies and electrical sub‑components.
Knowledge of basic mechanical/electrical assemblies and ability to understand how they operate.
May require PPE and periodic exposure to low‑dose radiation.
Working Shift Monday through Friday 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM, with occasional overtime as required to meet production and customer requirements. Option to move to a 4/10 workweek after successful completion of training.
