Job Overview The HR Generalist III is responsible for running the daily functions of the Human Resources department including hiring, interviewing, benefits administration and enforcing company policies and practices. The role partners with plant leadership to deliver a high‑performance culture, promote ownership, goal attainment and continuous learning at all levels. The HR Generalist provides customer‑service support to employees by responding to inquiries, providing information on company policies, processing requests and documents, and updating HR systems to ensure efficient service delivery.
A Day in the Life
Provide daily HR support to manufacturing employees, maintaining positive employee relations and engagement
Recruit, interview, and facilitate hiring of qualified applicants, collaborating with departmental managers to define skills and competencies
Prepare offer letters, new‑hire packages, conduct orientation and employee recognition programs
Conduct or obtain background checks and verify employee eligibilities
Organize and lead employee wellness and engagement activities
Coordinate performance review programs to ensure effectiveness, compliance, and equity
Work with Plant Leadership on job description changes and compensation
Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and best practices
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or Management (preferred)
3+ years of relevant HR experience (required)
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong interpersonal and conflict resolution skills
Excellent time‑management skills and ability to meet deadlines
Proficiency with or ability to learn the organization’s HRIS and talent management system
Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
Act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality
